Sophia’s Lemoncella

I created this image of Sophia’s Lemoncella for a studio lighting class in 2022 at the University of Guelph-Humber. I demonstrated skill in lighting glass objects and received my highest mark of the semester. I set up Broncolor lighting equipment and camera equipment and styled the bottle. I kept it simple and spent several hours altering small details until I reached an image I was satisfied with. I was able to work with an assistant which gave me more energy to explore my creativity in the creation of this image. I unexpectedly had to share the studio with a large production and advocated for fair use of the space. This is one of my favourite images taken in this course because the Italian liquor reminds me of my home and family roots.
